Attar (also spelled ittar) is a pure, natural perfume oil derived from botanical ingredients such as flowers, herbs, spices, wood, and resins. Unlike commercial perfumes and body sprays, attars contain no alcohol, no water, and no synthetic carriers. They are applied directly to the skin in small amounts and are known for their exceptional longevity, depth, and natural character. Attar is one of the oldest forms of perfumery in the world, with deep roots in Indian, Arabic, and Persian culture.

Yes. All Aziz Aroma attars are 100% alcohol-free. They are pure perfume oils, which makes them suitable for all skin types and ideal for those who prefer alcohol-free fragrances for religious, personal, or skin sensitivity reasons

Our attars are formulated for exceptional longevity. You can expect 8 to 12 hours of fragrance on the skin with a single application. Because attars are pure concentrated oils, a small amount goes a long way — just 5 to 7 drops per application is sufficient.

Apply 3 to 5 drops of attar directly to your pulse points — these are areas where the skin is warmest and helps project the fragrance. Common pulse points include the inner wrists, the sides of the neck, behind the ears, and the inner elbows. Do not rub the attar after applying, as this breaks down the fragrance molecules. Simply allow it to dry naturally.

Several of our attars are unisex and suitable for everyone, including Parwaaz, Faris, Green Forest, and Haaris. Some attars are more masculine in character, such as Shaukat and Qalbi Oud, while Al-Haya is crafted with a feminine sensibility. Pure attar oils are known for their stability and long shelf life. When stored properly — in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — our attars can last for 3 to 5 years or longer. Some oud and sandalwood-based attars actually improve with age, much like fine wine.

Store your attar bottle upright, tightly sealed, in a cool and dry location away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Avoid storing in bathrooms where temperature and moisture fluctuate. The original bottle is designed to preserve the fragrance optimally.
